The study is now published in JAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The question of whether it is safe to take the pain-relieving and antipyretic drug paracetamol (sometimes called acetaminophen) during pregnancy flares up from time to time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most recently in 2021, a group of researchers, including several Swedish ones, warned in an article in&nbsp;<em>Nature Reviews Endocrinology<\/em>&nbsp;that paracetamol during pregnancy could increase the risk of autism, ADHD and intellectual disability.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now comes a study that may add to the body of knowledge.
